Our Mission Statement is simple- We have to produce the same quality, attention to detail and finish associated with the very best Painters & Decorators, yet we have to provide this in the up most Environmentally Friendly way possible.
Our driving thought is always is this the most environmentally conscious and "Green" way to complete the job. How can we minimise our Environmental impact yet still deliver an affordable and high quality service
Carbon Reduction
Put simply we must look to keep man made Carbon emissions to an absolute bare minimum. If there is a way to reduce or offset our carbon emissions we must!
It is totally un-disputable that increasing levels of atmospheric carbon, mainly in the form of CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) do contribute to an overall Global Warming affect. By not only being aware of this fact, but actively reacting to counter this whenever possible we can all play our part.
Waste Management
The advantages of an experienced painter & decorater are, with the years of knowledge gained, the ability for accurate material estimation for jobs. By purchasing just the right amount for every job wastage is kept to a minimum.
Less packaging to dispose of, less paint to throw away or dispose of correctly! Of course if in any way it is possible to re-use paints or products on the next job we will do this and through this form of management we are able to price very competitively on all decorating contracts!

Green Decorating the Sustainable Painting company were established in 2009 as a South Coast Based Painting & Decorating company with a focus on Green Sustainability Painting and processes.
Managing Director Steve Merritt already runs one of the largest South Coast Painting & Decorating contractors Merritt Decorators, but felt with the advancements in both products and processes a separate, wholly environmentally considerate approach was required.
